HEMPSTEAD - A Long Island minority group says the candidates for Nassau County executive haven't done enough to help minority communities, a growing demographic that could make a big difference on Election Day.

Corridor, a minority group, threw its support behind Tom Suozzi's opponent Adam Haber during the Democratic primary. Yesterday, Haber endorsed Suozzi.

Today, Suozzi laid out a five-point plan for Long Island, particularly targeting its minority areas. It includes making sure youth programs are fully funded.

The Mangano administration's deputy county executive for minority affairs blamed Mangano's cuts to those programs on his predecessor, Suozzi.
