Police say a woman is facing charges for a house party where minors were drinking alcohol. Officers say there were nearly 100 underage kids drinking

HEWLETT BAY PARK - Police say a woman is facing charges for a house party where minors were drinking alcohol.

Police say they received several calls about the party Saturday night on Cedar Avenue in Hewlett Bay Park.

Officers say there were nearly 100 underage kids at the party and many were drinking alcoholic beverages.

Michelle Lankri, 20, was charged with violating the social host law.

New York state's social host law holds people over the age of 18 accountable when alcohol consumption by minors is permitted at their residences.
