Cops: Unlicensed driver struck teen in Hauppauge

? Cops say a Glen Cove teen was hit by a car in Hauppauge early this morning.The incident happened at the intersection of Route 347

HAUPPAUGE - ? Cops say a Glen Cove teen was hit by a car in Hauppauge early this morning.

The incident happened at the intersection of Route 347 and Route 111 just before 2 a.m.

Cops say Jaime Ceron of Holtsville was traveling westbound when he struck 19-year-old Fredi Yanes.

Yanes was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center with serious injuries. He is expected to be OK.

Ceron was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
