HEWLETT - Police are searching for the suspects who tied up an elderly couple and held them at gunpoint inside their Hewlett home.

Nassau police say the two masked men forced a 73-year-old man inside his Lakeview Drive home Saturday night.

Officials say when they got inside, the men pulled out a gun and demanded cash.

According to police, the suspects then tied up the man and his wife inside their room and ran away with cash and jewelry.
