SHIRLEY - Police say a Shirley man is facing charges for allegedly driving drunk and backing into a police patrol car.
Officials say Jason Holland, 41, sped through the stop sign at Clinton Avenue and Hawthorne Street in Mastic this morning.
When police tried to pull him over, Holland allegedly drove off, then hit a sign for an auto-body shop, and then backed into the patrol car.
No one was injured. Holland is facing DWI charges.
