PATCHOGUE - Cops say they caught a man accused of killing his girlfriend in Brooklyn.
Investigators say Brian Sohtz, a New York City transit dispatcher, was heading to his ex-wife's house in Patchogue when he was caught.
Sohtz called his ex-wife in Patchogue to say he "thought" he had just killed his girlfriend Daniella Mannino.
Cops say his ex-wife then called the police.
Mannino was found stabbed to death in the bathtub in her Brooklyn apartment.
Sohtz was arrested in Suffolk and charged with murder.
Mannino was the daughter of a top official in the Brooklyn DA's office.
