Cops: Man seriously hurt after being dragged by hit-and-run driver

HUNTINGTON STATION - Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who dragged a man under his car in Huntington Station.

Police say the unidentified man was hit in front of 7-Eleven at the corner of Jericho Turnpike and Thorney Avenue around 10:30 p.m. last night.

Police say the victim was dragged about 500 feet before being dislodged from the vehicle. The victim was seriously injured.

Anyone with information about the driver is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
