The driver of the Corvette, Joseph Ciambriello, 31, of Lindenhurst, was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal mischief. Police say they're now trying to determine if Ciambriello tried to pull over other motorists this morning. One man, who didn't want to be named, says someone driving a black Corvette and fitting Ciambriello's description pulled him over and demanded he open up his trunk.
