PORT JEFF STATION - Police are investigating a home invasion last night in Port Jeff Station.

Police say Edwin Canela, of Roosevelt, knocked on the door of a home on Shenandoah Boulevard at around 10 p.m. They say he had a knife and was wearing a Halloween mask.

Canela allegedly forced his way inside when a woman answered. Authorities say he stole an iPhone, credit cards and cash before leaving the scene. He was arrested a few hours later. Investigators say Canela is dating the victim's sister.
