EAST ISLIP - ? Cops have released new information this morning about a deadly home invasion where a man turned the tables on three armed robbers. Cops say the men burst into a home on Adams Street in East Islip and shot the family dog Wednesday. Investigators say after the dog was shot, a resident shot and killed one suspect and injured another. The third man was captured. Cops have identified the killed intruder as Fred Flock, of Coram. Phillipe Robinette, of Aquebogue, has been charged with burglary. Cops say the suspect that was shot, Justin Benkov, of Mastic, is in critical condition.
