Troopers say Elizabeth A. Forsberg failed sobriety tests after she was pulled over in East Hampton.

EAST HAMPTON - A woman is being charged under Leandra's Law after state police say she drove drunk with several children in her car.

Troopers say they pulled over Elizabeth A. Forsberg in East Hampton Saturday night for a traffic violation. They say an odor of alcohol was detected in her vehicle.

The 40-year-old failed sobriety tests, police say.

Forsberg had four children in the car, two of which were her own.

She was arrested and charged with felony DWI.
