An East Meadow mother is under arrest following accusations she has been threatening a Little League official because her son didn't make the travel team.Police

EAST MEADOW - An East Meadow mother is under arrest following accusations she has been threatening a Little League official because her son didn't make the travel team.

Police say Janet Chiauzzi, 44, sent letters to the official that threatened his family and children's lives. She also allegedly sent a letter to the principal of the school that the official?s children attended, accusing him of abusing them.

Child Protective Services investigated the allegations and found nothing.

Chiauzzi is charged with stalking, falsely reporting an incident, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
