MASSAPEQUA PARK - A Massapequa Park mother has been charged with felony DWI after police say she drove drunk and flipped her car with her 6-year-old daughter inside.

According to court documents, Phyllis Lindberg, a 49-year-old mother of four, told authorities she doesn't remember what happened in the moments before she slammed into a parked truck and flipped her car on Sunrise Highway yesterday.

The felony complaint against her states that Lindberg had a blood alcohol level of .19, more than twice the legal limit, while her daughter was in the vehicle. The child was treated for neck pain at the hospital and released.

Lindberg was arraigned today on a felony count of driving while intoxicated under Leandra's Law. She pleaded not guilty, but court documents state that she told police, "I'm a good mother, I let my family down." Her husband declined to comment in court today.

Lindberg is expected to be back in court on Thursday.
