CENTRAL ISLIP - Police arrested a man after they say he crashed his SUV into a home in Central Islip early this morning.

Officials say 30-year-old Juan Carlos Madrano was driving with a blood-alcohol content three times over the legal limit when he crashed into a home on Lowell Avenue.

Fortunately, the home that the vehicle crashed into was unoccupied.

The homeowner, Emilio Torres, says he had the home up for sale but now must make major repairs before he can place the home back on the market.

Madrano was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and has been charged with DWI, according to investigators.
