MANHASSET - Police say they have uncovered an $81,000 ATM scam on Long Island. Cops say the scam began to unravel after three people from Brooklyn were arrested in Manhasset yesterday.

Police say the trio used someone else's ATM card to buy more than $1,500 in money orders at the Manhasset Post Office.Cops now say they believe the suspects are part of a larger group that has stolen $81,000 from banks since last year.The investigation is ongoing.
