Cops: 2 teens rob, beat Nassau cab driver with a brick

Cops say a Nassau County cab driver was beaten with a brick and then robbed.Police say 19-year-old Tysheem Gary of Hempstead and 18-year-old Obioha Osuji

UNIONDALE - Cops say a Nassau County cab driver was beaten with a brick and then robbed.

Police say 19-year-old Tysheem Gary of Hempstead and 18-year-old Obioha Osuji of Uniondale called a cab to 520 Lindenwood St. in Uniondale early yesterday morning.

Cops say the suspects then took off with an unknown amount of cash. The duo was arrested a short time later.

The cab driver needed stitches to his forehead.

Both teens now face robbery charges.
