SYOSSET - A construction worker was seriously injured after falling into a 10-foot-deep hole near Jericho Turnpike in Syosset.
Police say the accident happened at a construction site off Jericho Turnpike near Florence Avenue.
They say the worker fell off a beam and into a foundation that was being built. He was airlifted to Nassau University Medical Center, where he's listed in stable condition.
Part of Jericho Turnpike was temporarily closed while they got the worker medical help.
