WASHINGTON - Congress passed legislation today outlawing the deadly drug sold under the guise of "bath salts."The bill, which is headed to President Obama's desk for approval, also bans dozens of primary chemicals used in synthetic marijuana and hallucinogens.Bath salts have been blamed for a series of violent and deadly attacks across the country. Last month, Miami police say Rudy Eugene was high on bath salts when he chewed a man's face off before officers shot and killed him.Bath salts are widely believed to cause hallucinations, paranoia and suicidal thoughts.
