Police say Beer was driving high and speeding when he crashed on the Southern State Parkway in Lakeview.

LAKEVIEW - Closing arguments were delivered today in the trial of a teen accused of driving high and killing four of his friends.

Investigators say Joseph Beer was high on marijuana and driving 100 mph when he crashed on the Southern State Parkway in Lakeview in 2012.

Prosecutors say Beer, who was then 17, only had a learner's permit.

Beer faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
