KINGS PARK - A Kings Park father has been found guilty of manslaughter in the death of his newborn son.

Prosecutors say Christopher Foster beat the 43-day-old baby to death in October 2011. The baby was found with a broken skull and broken ribs.

Foster's attorney claimed the baby's mother or schizophrenic grandmother was responsible for the infant's death.

Foster is expected to be sentenced in September.
