BRENTWOOD - A Westbury dad accused of killing his baby daughter while driving drunk received upgraded charges today.

Prosecutors say Jose Escobar, 29, was driving drunk at speeds up to 100 mph when he lost control of his car on Motor Parkway in Brentwood. Escobar crossed a median, went airborne and crashed into a 7-Eleven. Escobar?s 10-month-old daughter died from injuries she suffered in the crash. His pregnant wife was also seriously hurt. The woman had an emergency C-section and gave birth to a baby girl, who has since been taken from her custody by social services.
