LAKE GROVE - Murder charges have been dropped against a Lake Grove man after he spent 18 years in prison for killing his wife.

John Grega was convicted of strangling his wife while they were on vacation in Vermont in 1994.

Last August, tests found another man's DNA on his wife's body.

Vermont prosecutors dropped all charges yesterday.
