HOLTSVILLE - A Central Islip man is due in court today on charges related to a road rage incident last week.

Police say 25-year-old Jason Parker started tailgating a driver who had switched lanes on the Long Island Expressway at around 6 a.m. They say he then cut off the other driver at the Nicolls Road exit in Holtsville and caused a crash with two other cars. Parker then got out of his BMW with a baseball bat, smashed three windows in the other car and started punching the driver, according to police.

Parker is facing charges of assault and driving without a license.
