CENTRAL ISLIP - Three brothers from Central Islip are putting the finishing touches on their new jazz album and are looking forward to sharing their new music with Long Island.

The Michael Jazz Trio is composed of three Godfrey brothers. Eighteen-year-old Matthew plays keyboards, 16-year-old David plays bass, and 11-year-old Jordan plays drums. The brothers are all self-taught and have been performing together for most of their lives.

"No Borders, No Boundaries" is the name of the trio's new album. They'll be premiering their new single, "Optimum," at the Toast Cafe in Port Jefferson on Aug. 2.To watch the trio practice, click on iO Extra on Channel 612.
