Carlos Ixpec-Chitay, suspect in Sister Jackie Walsh's hit-and-run death, still at large

WATER MILL - Officials say the suspect accused of hitting and killing a beloved Syosset nun last year has not been arrested.

Sister Jackie Walsh was hit while walking along Rose Hill Road in Water Mill.

Police believe the driver who hit her was Carlos Armando Ixpec-Chitay.

Federal agents have tried to find him, but they believe he is hiding in his native Guatemala.
