MASSAPEQUA - A quick-thinking neighbor may have prevented tragedy last night when he spotted a flaming car burning just feet from a home where a family was sleeping.Matt Dower, of Massapequa, says he was getting ready for bed at around midnight when he spotted flames in the driveway next door. He also says he spotted someone standing next to the car who turned and ran down the street.Dower rushed next door, rang the doorbell and asked for the keys so he could back the burning car away from the home. Eileen McEniry says she and her three children were fast asleep when Dower rushed to their rescue. She says she's extremely grateful. Nassau police say the arson squad is investigating the case.
