WOODBURY - The Smithsonian’s Museum of American History has launched a fundraising campaign to restore a pair of ruby red slippers from the “Wizard of Oz.”

The museum has set up a Kickstarter campaign called “Keep Them Ruby.”

The goal of the campaign is to raise $300,000 by Nov. 16.

More than 300 people have already pledged to donate.
