BELLPORT - There are calls being made today for the suspension of two school board officials involved in the Bellport grade changing scandal. Three members of the South Country School Board are demanding that the board president Victor Correa and vice president Kevin Kirk be suspended.
The move follows a report on allegations that grades were changed for Bellport football player Ryan Sloan. The board members believe both members failed to carry out their duties by not reporting the initial allegations about grade changes to the entire board, according to Newsday.
