WOODBURY - ? A Long Island school bus driver returned to work today after being fired for helping three stranded police officers.

George Daw was re-instated by ?Educational Bus Transportation? last week. Daw was let go after rescuing the cops during a heavy rain and hail storm earlier this month. The bus company originally fired him because there was a student on the bus at the time, and the company prohibits drivers from picking up other passengers.

Today, Daw is back behind the wheel for the first time since the incident.
