WOODBURY - Police made an arrest in connection to the hit-and-run death of a nun in the Hamptons this summer.

Police arrested Miguel Ixpec-Chitay for allegedly lying to agents about having contact with his brother, suspect Carlos Ixpec-Chitay, Newsday reports.

Authorities say Carlos Ixpec-Chitay ran down Sister Jacqueline Walsh of our Lady of Mercy Academy on July 9 while she was crossing Rose Hill Road during a retreat in Water Mill.
