BROOKHAVEN - Towns across Long Island are bracing for the nasty blast of winter tonight.

Flooding and beach erosion are among the big concerns for Suffolk County’s largest Town of Brookhaven.

News 12 Long Island’s Doug Geed spoke with Brookhaven Deputy Town Supervisor Dan Panico who said the town is as ready as it can be. However, they do expect beach erosion in some areas.
