Brittany Ozarowski admits to faking cancer to fuel heroin habit

SELDEN - Police say a Selden woman has admitted that she lied about having cancer to steal thousands of dollars to support her heroin habit.

Brittany Ozarowski agreed to a plea deal that keeps her out of prison.

Ozarowski is expected to be sentenced to up to two years in rehab and a year of community service next week.

If Ozarowski violates those terms, she could go to prison for three years.
