Brian Bernard, 52, accused of robbing Rite Aid Pharmacy in Sayville

SAYVILLE - Police have arrested a Sayville man for allegedly robbing a pharmacy last month.

Police say Brian Bernard, 52, entered a Rite Aid Pharmacy on Main Street back on Feb. 27 armed with a shotgun and demanded money from an employee.

According to police, an employee gave Bernard cash from the registers and Bernard fled the store on a bicycle.

Police located Bernard on March 6.

Bernard is charged with robbery in the first degree.
