EAST SETAUKET - A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a well-known East Setauket equestrian.

Brett Knight was caught by U.S. Marshals at around 8:30 a.m. today in Tennessee. They say he was wanted in connection with the murder of Ross Reisner and the attempted murder of his partner, Kevin Murray.

Court papers show Knight had been previously charged with harassing Reisner and Murray. He had been wanted for questioning in the September murder of Reisner on Upper Sheep Pasture Road in East Setauket.

Reisner, a well-known equestrian, was gunned down through the window of his home. Murray was grazed by a bullet, but survived.
