BRENTWOOD - New organizers have stepped forward to make sure the 46th annual Brentwood Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade goes on as planned. Funding cuts had shelved the summer parade, but the community arts group Teatro Yerbabruja and Assemblyman Phil Ramos (D-N.Y.) say they are looking for new sponsors. The parade is set to go on July 22, seven weeks later than usual. This year's theme will be remembering Brentwood's Puerto Rican pioneers. Local business owners say they're happy to hear the good news, noting that the parades are usually a big boon.Brentwood Puerto Rican-Hispanic Day Parade canceled
