BRENTWOOD - A health clinic in Brentwood that's a vital resource for the community fell victim to last week's record rainfall, and it's unclear when it will reopen.

The Brentwood Health Center on Brentwood Road is sending patients and families to other locations while it's closed due to flood damage. It's expected to remain closed at least through Tuesday.

Officials say Sheetrock inside the building was damaged, and now air-quality testing is being performed.

The closure affects all of the facility's services, including adult and pediatric services, WIC and family planning, and dental and mental health services.

Until it's reopened, officials with the clinic say that patients who need to reschedule general medical appointments should call 631-439-1551. Patients who have to reschedule mental health appointments should call 631-853-7300.
