Boy, 3, injured in East Meadow crash

A 3-year-old boy is still in the hospital today after a crash in East Meadow. It happened at Route 106 and Salisbury Park Drive around

EAST MEADOW - A 3-year-old boy is still in the hospital today after a crash in East Meadow.

It happened at Route 106 and Salisbury Park Drive around 6:30 Sunday night. The intersection wasn't reopened until about 2 a.m.

Nassau police say the boy suffered a head injury in the crash. There is  no word on his condition today.

The driver of his car was issued a summons for not having a proper child restraint.
