ORIENT - Police flocked to Orient Point on Friday after a man resembling one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects was thought to be riding a ferry bound for Long Island.

Two passengers and a crew member reported the individual, who they believed looked like 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Once he departed the boat, which departed New London, Conn., the man was taken in for questioning and had his backpack scanned via X-ray.

Bomb squad officials and emergency services personnel flocked to the Orient area.

Part of Route 25 was closed for 5 miles during the ordeal, which lasted from around 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Meanwhile, the man said he was on his way to a friend's party in Port Jefferson.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has since been found, and is in police custody.
