SADDLE ROCK - ? The body of a man found floating by a dock on the North Shore has been identified as a former assistant district attorney from Brooklyn. Police say Richard Appleby, 66, of Manhattan, was pulled out of the water in Saddle Rock on May 25. Appleby had been reported missing and last seen a day before. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
