OYSTER BAY - The body of a veteran journalist from Long Island who was killed in a rocket attack in Syria has arrived back home. Marie Colvin's flag-draped casket arrived at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home on South Street this afternoon. Wake services are scheduled to be held there on Saturday and Sunday, followed by a funeral on Monday. Colvin's mother, who lives in East Norwich, had pledged to get her daughter's body back from violence-ravaged Syria. The Red Cross helped recover and ship Colvin's remains back to the U.S.LI funeral for journalist killed in Syria set for next week
