MINEOLA - A group of bikers took to the streets today with a leather-clad Easter Bunny as their ringleader for a great cause.

About 60 members of the Long Island Harley Riders rode to Winthrop University Hospital for their annual Easter basket ride. They arrived bearing toys, books and other gifts to help spread smiles to sick children.

Families of the children who received the gifts say they're extremely grateful.

The bikers brought so many toys that the hospital says it will give out the extras to any other children that are admitted in the next few days.

It's the 10th year the group has held the ride.
