Bellmore man arrested for Mepham H.S. threats

BELLMORE - A man has been arrested for threatening to shoot up a high school in his neighborhood.

Police say the principal of Mepham High School called police after finding out Peter Anderson said he wanted to shoot everyone at Mepham High School. Anderson will be arraigned today on charges of making a terroristic threat.

It is not known why he made the threats against the high school.
