Babylon community flooded with problems

Residents in the Town of Babylon say that they're getting flooded out at least three times a week and that the problem has nothing to

AMITY HARBOR - Residents in the Town of Babylon say that they're getting flooded out at least three times a week and that the problem has nothing to do with rain.

Community members in Amity Harbor complain that bay water backs up through the storm drain every time the tide comes in. They say the problem began when town officials moved the drain to the south side of the street 10 years ago.

Residents say they've complained about the problem for years, but still nothing has been done to fix it.

Babylon Town officials say the storm sewer is scheduled to be replaced.
