NORTH AMITYVILLE - A baby girl is dead after she and her pregnant mother were struck by a pickup truck Saturday night in North Amityville.

Police say Nancy Arevalo, 29, was crossing Route 110 at around 7 p.m. last night with her 10-month-old daughter Britney in a stroller when the two were hit by a pickup truck. Britney died a few hours later.
