NISSEQUOGUE - Officials say an autopsy will be performed to identify the body found in a burned SUV on a North Shore beach.

Chopper 12 was over the scene in Nissequogue yesterday as police responded to a 911 call about a car fire.

Upon arrival, police found a burned SUV with a body inside.

There is no word on how the fire started or what killed the person inside.
