MANHATTAN - Officials say they will soon find out why a promising Stony Brook University student collapsed and died in Manhattan.

Police believe Jocelyn Pascucci, 19, had been drinking with friends when she became separated from them Saturday.

Pascucci collapsed in the lobby of an East Village building and died at the hospital.

The marine biology major had a heart condition.

An autopsy was conducted yesterday.
