SHIRLEY - Arson investigators think foul play may be behind a raging Shirley house fire Thursday afternoon.

Smoke from the fire set off an alarm at a house on William Floyd Parkway around 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

Police say a man in one apartment got out, and a passing driver helped him pull a woman out of the other apartment.

The woman is said to have sustained serious injuries.

Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call officials at 631-852-6024.
