Arrest warrant issued for Jonathan Roth for failure to appear in court

Roth wasn't expected to face jail time because he assisted the prosecution in the case against his father.

JONES BEACH - An arrest warrant has been issued for the young man who admitted to helping his father fake his drowning in Jones Beach.

The Nassau District Attorney's office says Jonathan Roth failed to show up for his sentencing Friday.

Roth wasn't expected to face jail time because he assisted the prosecution in the case against his father.

Roth's attorney says he doesn't know where his client is and hopes his failure to appear was a scheduling error.
