Arrest made in Craigslist-iPhone scam

Authorities have made an arrest in an alleged iPhone scam perpetrated through Craigslist. Police say a teen answered a Craigslist ad to buy 13 iPhones

WOODBURY - Authorities have made an arrest in an alleged iPhone scam perpetrated through Craigslist. Police say a teen answered a Craigslist ad to buy 13 iPhones for $8,000 and met two men in Garden City near Roosevelt Field to buy the smart phones. The men are accused of taking off with the money and not giving the teen any of the iPhones. Police have now arrested Jason Demps, of Queens, in the scam. He's being charged with grand larceny.
