Arraignment delayed for teen accused of stabbing ex

EAST PATCHOGUE - The arraignment for a teen accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death on an East Patchogue Street has been delayed.

Officials say Denney Turcios-Reyes, 18, was not brought to the courthouse from his jail cell at Rikers Island today. 

Police say the East Patchogue teen repeatedly stabbed Jasmine Davis last Tuesday. 

The 20-year-old died at the hospital. 

Police say they broke up last month.

Courthouse officials did not say why the arraignment was delayed.
